This is a picture of one of my sons with the walleye he caught near a local dam a couple weeks ago. They tell me these are some of the tastiest fish but as far as I'm concerned they're still fish and I don't like or eat fish. I think it stems from having an allergy to seafood and not being able to eat that so I have convinced myself that I don't like any fish! Probably crazy on my part but that's just how I am.
I guess he cooked them up on the grill and from what everyone who ate them said they were excellent! And I didn't even know the boy knew how to cook anything!
I think maybe I should make him cook some steak on the grill for me for Easter dinner. Naaaa....that won't work. I can't afford steak for the whole clan. I guess we'll have ham. Maybe he can grill me a steak for Mother's Day! He can even supply the steak and I'll supply everything else. Yeah, sounds like a plan to me....we can celebrate both our birthdays at the same time!!

I love fish especially Orange Roughy. If I had more time, I would be preparing fish more often for dinner. I bet his grilled fish were delicious! I can handle steak too though. I'm hoping to have ribs for Easter with potato salad.
Walleye is well and truly good eating. :-)
Mmmmmmm. Fish.
I caught a walleye once...I forget how big it was but it was a biggin! My hub, still to this day, claims it was on his hook first! Maybe so, but it ended up on mine! ;)
Well maybe he can fish, but at least I'm the best looking child! :)
I never enjoyed fish as a child - but love it as a "grown up!". Especially swordfish - tastes just like steak if made right!
Is your birthday on Easter???
Happy Birthday. :)
Rebecca ~ No, my birthday is in May..the 7th and my sons is the 8th. Sorry I wasn't clear about that...I think we will celebrate our birthdays together on Mother's Day when he can cook steak on the grill.
Naive - did we ever dispute that fact? Seriously, you are all good looking.....it's just that you have the best shape!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog ... I like this idea of steak for Mother's Day very much! And he might surprise you with the side dishes as well! Have fun!
wow that is HUGE!~
hope you have a Happy Easter!!
