Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

I cooked a lovely dinner for my daughter, naive and Mr. naive and Drew. Her oldest two were with their Dad and his side of the family. They were the only ones who showed up for dinner. Our youngest son and his wife and 5 year old, showed up later to visit with us.

Just as well. I was exhausted from not having slept the night before. I had such terrible back spasms that reduced me to tears and finally forced a trip to the ER. While there I received a shot in the hip and a scrip for some vicadin. Felt a little spacy, but at least I was finally pain free!! Upon arriving back home, I climbed into bed and slept for about 4 hours before I had to get up and start dinner, which by the way, was wonderful.

I kept nodding out sitting up later in the day and must have seemed bored with our youngest son and his wife but I was just so whipped by that time. They said the understood and weren't offended and I'm sure they did understand but still I felt it was rude on my part.

The hubby went to bed around 8:30 since he had to get up at 2:30 AM for work and I was going to stay up and watch the news at 10:00. Hubby woke me up at 2:45 and told me to go to bed.....I don't remember the news! Or falling asleep for that matter! Still tired and think I will try and nap. Night!

I hope you feel better soon! Sucks you had to goto the ER.
I wish I could take a nap. If I nap, I will never fall asleep at night! But I LOVE naps! Have a good day!

Just take it easy until you are caught up on rest. And thanks for the yummy dinner. I told you you didn't have to make it after what happened the night before.

Celebrating holidays is so exhausting anymore, isnt it? I went to bed at 9 last night after nodding on the couch for an hour. And it was still very difficult to get up this morning!

I was thinking of you guys ~ HUGS!

Sorry about your back spasms! Hope that clears up real soon. Family dinners are hard to beat. But, somebody has to work hard to prepare the food. Last Christmas I made breakfast for the grandparents. It is hardwork trying to prepare several dishes of food and keep them all warmly served. My breakfast came out good but it wasn't easy. Bet your dinner was delicious!

Hey Martie,

Just thought I would let you know that I have really enjoyed reading about the family so far away.

Also, I love the family pics you've added on here. Nice looking family. :)

Did you change the look on your blog? Something's different, but I'm not sure what....
