Echo-cardiogram.....piece of cake!

There really isn't anything to one of these. I suspect it's basically the same thing as an ultra-sound they do on pregnant women to check on the baby. They didn't have ultra-sound when I had my kids. Or at least if they did have them, they weren't done routinely. So I asked the gal doing the echo if it was a boy or a girl? She looked at me rather strangely and replied, and I quote "it's not a baby, it's a heart!" Some people just don't have any sense of humor!!!!

I asked her if she could tell me anything and her response was, and again I quote, "I don't do the doctors job of revealing the results and he doesn't do my job of operating the echo-cardiogram machine." SORRRRRY! I think she needs to find a new job.

I did get the results of my stress test though. It is the same as before, nothing has changed. So unless this echo shows something other than what the doctor thought it would, I am good to go for another year anyway before I have to go and visit them again.

Cool deal! Glad all went well! You're right, some people have no sense of humor.

Sure, you're still welcome to come down. Just hope you don't mind all my coughin' and a hackin'! LOL

Great news Martie! That lady was a real downer though. I thought your sense of humor was quite crafty myself. Somebody must have you know what in her cornflakes.

Hugs!

YEAH. A clean bill of health is what we like to hear!!! :)

Echocardiograms are wild; I've had one - and my son had an extensive one. It's amazing how technology has evolved.

I came across the lack of sense of humour (or perhaps just lack of conversational skills) the other day - I was trying to choose a toaster and thinking how ugly they all were. When the assistant came over and asked if he could help, I commented, "You don't buy a toaster for its looks, do you?" He replied, without a flicker of a smile, "No, you buy it make toast."

Good to hear all went well with the test.

That's sure wonderful news Martie! Hip hip hooraah!
They had ultra sounds with my youngest and you couldn't tell what end was what. They gave me a little oblong plate with the picture on it. Didn't know what I was looking at but was sure proud of it1 haha! When I went in to deliver my daughter, I asked the nurse if she thought the heart beat sounded like a girl or boy. She said that's a boy if I've ever heard one! LOL.. After two boys I was PRAYING for my daughter.
