Deer hunting fast approaches...............
........and we are right back to being so busy at work and hubby volunteering for overtime (read working 10 hour days, 6 days a week) that we have no time for each other. And this is the part I hate about him going deer hunting to the U.P. for just over 2 weeks. I can deal with the 2 weeks he is gone. In fact it's kind of a vacation for me....less laundry, no cooking if I don't want too, etc. But it's the preparation before he goes and the many hours he feels he must work that take time away from 'us', that really pisses me off. I have told him angrily, and told him pleadingly, and told him nicely. And HE. JUST. DOESN'T. GET. IT! Is it possible for a man to be so dense in the head? I guess the answer is a resounding YES.......makes no sense to me!

i'm sorry ;(
Venus and Mars my friend.....I think the same thing sometimes about my hubby...sometimes we are so opposite...I like to get up and get at it...he likes to ease himself into his day...often it is gone by before he even starts.....he says I am fussy....I say he is lazy....but I tell you when the two of us jive...we jive....so I take the good with the not so good...yes it would be nice if he saw that you would want to spend some time with him before he goes away.....he thinks he should work exta because he is going to be away....it's a vicious cycle.....
I hope he has a safe trip....and I hope you enjoy your down time...and that when he gets back you two have a nice romantic dinner together....
hugs my friend
Those men seem to have a one track mind when they have a hobby. Mine loves golf just a little too much sometimes...
Hang in there my friend. At least you know the deer season has an ending date.
All my best to you.
Sending you lots of hugs,
Men and their hunting!
